For now, I’ve mounted the Tempest on a 4x4 post in my yard to monitor its performance and ensure there are no issues. So far, it has exceeded my expectations. The data updates almost instantly, and the accuracy has been spot on. Once I’m confident in its performance, I plan to install it at the peak of my roof for optimal readings. This will give it better exposure to wind, rain, and sunlight, improving data accuracy even further. A Few Bonuses with Tempest
Switching from the AcuRite Iris to the Tempest Weather Station has been a fantastic upgrade. From the streamlined setup to its robust integrations, Tempest has proven to be a smarter, more convenient choice. If you’re on the fence about upgrading your weather station, I can’t recommend it enough. For now, my Tempest is providing live readings here, and I’m excited to see how it performs when I move it to its permanent home on my roof.
